purchase guide

The PYP5 students of Manchester International School embarked on a field trip on the 7th of February, 2024, to Aishwaryam Social Welfare Organization and Resource Training Centre (ASWO) as a part of their PYP Exhibition journey. Aishwaryam NGO is an organization dedicated to empowering underprivileged women through skill-building programs. As part of their study on global inequality and violence, the students witnessed the transformative work being done to empower underprivileged women through tailoring and computer classes. Aishwaryam's projects, "Sharing of Love," "Shine," "Hope," "Drive," "Valikaati," "Kudumbashree," and "Elder Care," aims to uplift marginalized communities by fostering compassion, entrepreneurship, education, mobility, gender equality, economic empowerment, and respect for the elderly.
The students were inspired by the determination and resilience of the women they met, leaving with a renewed commitment to combating global inequality and violence at the grassroots level. Aishwaryam served as a beacon of hope, reminding them of the power of community-driven initiatives in creating a more equitable world. The field trip broadened their horizons and inspired them to advocate for social justice.
