Wow Moment by Kanishaa SP, MYP 4
It was one of the most exciting days in our photography club. Our teacher had asked us to bring our cameras to class, and we had no idea what was planned. But when we all arrived, we were told we were going on a photo walk around the school campus. That moment felt like a big WOW! It wasn’t a regular class, it was something really special.
We began our walk near the garden, looking closely for insects hiding in the leaves and flowers. Some of us clicked photos of butterflies, bees, and even tiny ants. It took patience and focus, but it was worth it when we captured that perfect shot. It felt like we were exploring a whole new world.
As we walked further, we started capturing the beauty of nature all around us, sunlight peeking through trees, shadows dancing on the ground, and the gentle swaying of leaves in the wind. With every photo, we learned something new about angles, lighting, and timing.
We also took pictures of people around the school, our classmates laughing, students walking by, and natural moments that showed emotions and stories. It made us realize how much happens around us every day that we don’t always notice.
That day was more than just a photography class. It was a chance to see the world differently, through the lens of a camera. We didn’t just take pictures, we captured memories. It was truly one of the best days for our photography club, and we’ll always remember it.
